About Scholarship: The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the University of Luxembourg has an opening for a Doctoral candidate (PhD student) in Law (M/F) A specialisation is foreseen in public economic law. The doctoral candidate will be working within the Research Unit of Law. The doctoral candidate is expected to contribute to research projects in the area of public economic law. Particular interest in public-private partnerships would be an asset.

Eligibility:
-Master’s degree in public law
-Have the linguistic skills to evolve in a multilingual environment: fluency in either English or French, good understanding of the second language and possibly a third language, German in particular, will be considered an advantage.

Applicants Role:
-The assistant’s main task will be to contribute to the research within the Research Unit in Law and preparing a doctoral thesis in the field of administrative law, under the supervision of Professor Rusen Ergec. The thesis has to be undertaken at the University of Luxembourg but can also be part of a joint supervision with another university.
-Contribute to the teaching of classes ranging from one to three hours per week, of small group teachings and tutorials.
Duration: The position is offered for the period of 3-year fixed-term contract, renewable once (up to a total of 4 years maximum), 40h/week.
